Overview

Throughout its 32 years of existence, BVMRF has earned the reputation of being a responsive and supportive research partner. BVMRF provides services to VA Investigators at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center and the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System in order to support quality proposals and contracts that are both technically and administratively sound. As the authorized official representatives, BVMRF personnel will submit applications on behalf of Principal Investigators. The BVMRF Grants and Contracts Manager (G&CM) should be notified each time an Investigator is considering the submission of a Letter of Intent (LOI). In some of the more complicated LOIs the G&CM can provide guidance and assistance.

BVMRF's goal of submitting the highest quality proposal is accomplished with strong collaboration and teamwork. The BVMRF G&CM will partner with Investigators in proposal preparation, serving as a key resource regarding VA, BVMRF, and sponsor policies.
